The mission of Gatewood Schools, Inc is to provide the best education available in a nurturing, Christian environment while instilling lifelong characteristics of faith, honor, truth, and loyalty. They are committed to forming well-rounded men and women who are prepared for college and beyond.
Gatewood offers a student-teacher ratio of 14-1 or less. They believe every child is a gift from God. They celebrate the unique gifts of each child and foster their creative passions. Gatewood has a full-time chaplain, who holds weekly chapel and teaches Bible Classes.
Gatewood offers 14 varsity sports and boasts 53 state titles in 53 years. They also offer dual enrollment classes, AP World History, and 25 electives including Drawing/Painting, Visual Art, Guitar, Public Speaking, Forensic Science, Personal Finance, Physics and more. They have over a 90% acceptance rate into the top Georgia research universities like the University of Georgia and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
