Georgia Butts BBQ
Owner Alex Davidson started Georgia Butts BBQ in a modest trailer, but thanks to the power of fantastic barbeque, he has since grown the business into a full-service restaurant and bar overlooking Lake Oconee. You can dine in or drive through, take a car and park or take a boat and dock, and once you’re there you can enjoy great service and a tasty breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can call for takeout, delivery, drive-thru, or event catering if you’d like to enjoy your barbeque elsewhere, and there’s even a food truck that shows up at local events.
So what kind of food does a barbeque restaurant serve for breakfast? The answer is pancakes, bacon, eggs, biscuits, and all the usual treats you want from a breakfast out. For lunch or dinner Georgia Butts BBQ offers brisket, ribs, pulled pork, fried pickles, smoked chicken, wings, Brunswick stew, baked beans, loaded potato salad, cheese fries, and more. There’s something to suit any group’s taste, whether you’re looking to take the kids out for a no-stress meal, or to sit and talk over some cold beer with friends. And for dessert—enjoy some sweet treats homemade by Alex’s mother.
Georgia Butts BBQ may have a food truck that tours local events, but Alex also creates his own events on site. You can watch a game on the big screen or enjoy a concert out on the patio on most nights of the week. Sometimes there are even magic tricks or balloon animals going on to entertain the kids—you never know what you’ll get at Georgia Butts BBQ!
