Halloween Activities For Little Kids + Big Kids Around Lake Oconee
No matter your age, Halloween is a fun holiday that many look forward to. There are always fun activities happening to get you and your kids in the spooky spirit including trunk or treats, skate nights, haunted houses and more. We’ve put together some fun things to do for little and big kids around the Lake Oconee area.

Location: Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church | 6341 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, GA, 30642
Children of all ages are invited to participate in Trunk or Treat hosted by Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church. Dress up in your costume and go check out various decorated car trunks from the Lake Oconee community. Lots of candy and different treats will, of course, be there along with tamales. Bring the whole family out to enjoy this fun fall evening!

Location: Got 2 b Rollin' | 1200 Chivers Avenue, Buckhead, GA, 30625
Calling all night owls! This all-night event is sure to get you in the Halloween spirit. Dress up in your best costume and come skate the night away, (literally) at this fun and unique event. This is a great way to celebrate the holiday that your kids are sure to remember.

Location: Madison Town Park | 218 West Jefferson Street, Madison, GA, 30650
Come out on the night of Halloween to see characters, superheroes, ghosts, goblins, and everything in between. Trick or treaters up to age 12 who are dressed in costumes along with costumed pets on leashes are welcome to join this fun parade around the park. Participants in the parade need to gather at 4:00 – the parade will begin at 4:15! Wagons are welcome for tiny tots. There will be prizes for exceptional kid (and pet) costumes. There you will find live music, fire trucks, and police cars for kids to explore and hot dogs! You don’t want to miss this free event that is sure to be an awesome time for everyone there.

Location: Redeemer Church of Madison | 1890 Bethany Road, Madison, GA, 30650
Come out on Halloween and join Redeemer Church of Madison for their Trunk or Treat event! There will be a costume parade, hotdogs, candy, snow cones, prizes and more! This is a great community-wide event that your kids and you are sure to have a fun time at.
If you’re older kids are looking to get spooked, here are some haunted houses in the middle Georgia area that are sure to be worth the drive!
Location: 2nd Street Montrose, GA 31065
This haunted house is sure to give you an adrenaline rush! Around every corner is something creepy, scary, or even gruesome-looking wanting to spook you. There are several attractions spread throughout multiple buildings to enjoy once there. All of you brave souls out there, be sure to check them out this season!
Terror Mills Haunted House
Location: 801 Mt Vernon Church Rd, Jackson, GA
This old Chicken farm from the early 1900s is sure to give you a scare if you are willing! Tickets are $17 for this Mid Georgia's premier haunted attraction. Check out this fun location for an adrenaline rush!
Lake Joy Trails of Terror
Location: 428 Lake Joy Road, Kathleen, GA 31047
This experience is not for the faint of heart! You are sure to be spooked in this outdoor location within the dark woods. Admission is $20 online and $22 at the gate. For all the adrenaline junkies looking for a very real-life scare, check out this haunted trail and be sure to wear close-toed shoes that are easy to walk in!
Haunted Manor of Davisboro
Location: 211 N Main St, Davisboro, GA 31018
This two-story Victorian-style home from the 1900s is said to be Middle Georgia’s scariest haunted house. There have been claims of different spooky experiences happening including visions seen in the cornrows at night or the sounds of screams that can be heard at night. Some believe the sounds of screams are coming from the walls of the Manor. Many people have experienced creepy encounters and refuse to ever go back. Only the bravest souls should attempt to visit this site, so check it out if you dare!
