Make Father’s Day Special

Young Harris Water Sports Lake Oconee presents 1st Annual Lake Oconee Juneboree from 11am to 9pm. This lakeside event offers great food and drinks, bouncy houses, live entertainment, fireworks, kayak races, face painting, and more!

Head on over to Jimmy Davis Park from for a festival and parade celebrating African American Emancipation and Excellence. Parade starts at 10am at the Putnam County Elementary School, and the festival follows at the park from 11am to 3pm.
Join the Morgan County African American Museum, aka the MCAAM for June-Fest from 12pm to 5pm. Enjoy craft vendors, food, and live entertainment for the whole family. Call MCAAM at (706)342-9191 for a vendor application or for more information.
From 11am to 1pm, come to the open-air farmers market for live music, kids’ crafts, and samples from all the great vendors—law enforcement, EMS, firefighters, veterans, or service members get lunch for free (lunch available until 3pm or until supplies last).
Spend your Saturday from 10am to 11:30am learning all about the Rock House Creamery and Garden’s beautiful dairy cows, their creamline milk process from cow to bottle, and the extensive vegetable gardens next to the creamery.
This annual race supports the Kam Kares Foundation, Cilla’s Heart Initiative, named in honor of Kam’s mom, Priscilla Hill, who is a Breast Cancer Survivor. This event promotes the importance of good nutrition, health and wellness, and cancer literacy.
