Josh and Jeff's families have farmed the same adjoining properties for generations. Their fathers were first cousins and dedicated cattle farmers, and that legacy of quality runs through everything at Scratchers Creek Market today. The store's name itself carries that history: the creek running through their family land was known to Native Americans as KANUGU'LA, translated to "Scratchers" in English. When it came time to name the business, there was only one choice.
