John Padjen moved away from Chicago, the land of deep dish pizza, 20 years ago and the time apart from this cheesy delicacy inspired him to bring a taste of his hometown to the Lake Oconee community! John not only wanted to bring some Chicago-style flavor to the area, he wanted to direct his passion for food towards supporting student participation in schools. With a community outreach mission in mind and incredible recipes to share, the food truck Dough Daddy Dough was born!
The food is authentic, delicious, and always served with a smile. Everything is made with top shelf ingredients from the homemade dough and sauce to Vienna sausages and hot dogs hailing straight from the Chicagoland area. Not to mention delicious crepes served with whipped cream and strawberries for those craving sweet instead of savory!
