Wish Night at Lake Oconee
Make-A-Wish Georgia is hosting the third annual Wish Night on March 12, 2026, at The Pavilion at The Ritz-Carlton. This year’s event promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with inspiration and entertainment, uniting community leaders, and philanthropists to raise critical funds to support Make-A-Wish Georgia’s mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in Georgia.
Last year’s Wish Night was attended by 120 community members and raised $250,000. The event featured cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, and a live performance by wish kid Taylor Brown.

Chef Deborah invites guests to slow down and savor the flavors of winter in France during À Table ~ Winter Culinary Class Demonstration & Luncheon, taking place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 11:30 AM at Chez Chef Deborah in Eatonton, Georgia.
Inspired by the cozy kitchens of Burgundy, this intimate culinary experience blends classic French technique with a relaxed, welcoming luncheon atmosphere. Guests will enjoy a live cooking demonstration featuring Poulet à la Moutarde, a beloved Burgundian dish of sautéed chicken finished in a rich Dijon mustard and crème fraîche sauce. The experience concludes on a sweet note with Pear Tarte Tatin, the iconic French upside-down tart made with caramelized pears and buttery pastry.
Throughout the class, Chef Deborah shares essential French culinary techniques, thoughtful tips, and approachable methods that home cooks can confidently recreate. After the demonstration, guests gather around the table to enjoy the prepared dishes together, making for a memorable midday escape filled with flavor, conversation, and inspiration.
The $75 per person registration fee includes the culinary demonstration, luncheon, and recipes to take home. Payment is required at the time of registration. While reservations are non-refundable, guests are welcome to gift their spot to a friend if they are unable to attend.
