Soirée en Blanc & Noir // OPAS
Prepare yourself for an enchanting evening at the Soiree en Blanc & Noir, an unforgettable gala designed to benefit OPAS’s arts education. From the moment you arrive to the reluctant time you must depart, a night of wonder awaits. This exclusive event features delectable food and wine, alongside the opportunity to dance the night away at an extraordinary, undisclosed destination.
Inspired by the globally renowned Dîner en Blanc, this soirée, hosted by the Oconee Performing Arts Society (OPAS), promises an evening steeped in elegance and surprise. The event will be limited in attendance and registration will occur in three phases, with members of OPAS receiving preferential treatment.
What is Soiree en Blanc & Noir?
Soiree en Blanc & Noir is OPAS's unique adaptation of the global phenomenon, Dîner en Blanc. Originating in the early 1980s in Paris, France, Dîner en Blanc began as a small, impromptu gathering where friends, dressed entirely in white, met at a public location with all the essentials for an elegant dinner. Over the decades, this "secret" sensation has spread to major cities worldwide, featuring guests who bring their tables, meals, and drinks to enjoy an evening of dining and dancing once the location is revealed.
The Soiree en Blanc & Noir Experience:
For their refined adaptation, attendees are invited to don attire in either white or black. Unlike the traditional event, OPAS will provide everything you need: tables, chairs, dinner, and drinks. This allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the enchanting atmosphere without any logistics to worry about.
Join us for an evening that celebrates sophistication and supports a noble cause. All proceeds from the Soiree en Blanc & Noir will directly benefit OPAS Arts Education Programs, fostering the growth and development of performing arts education in our community.
🍷✨ Save the date, dress in your finest black or white attire, and get ready for an evening of unforgettable memories at Soiree en Blanc & Noir. ✨🍷
