The Launch Party
The excitement for the Lake Oconee Food & Wine Festival officially begins at the Launch Party on Friday, March 20 from 8:00 PM to 11:59 PM—an unforgettable night of music, style, food, and celebration. This year’s theme, Boots & Bow Ties, invites guests to dust off their finest western-chic looks and step into a luxurious, custom-themed cocktail lounge co-hosted by the acclaimed Black Sheep Interiors.
Attendees will dance the night away to high-energy live entertainment from Will Slater & The 53, a powerhouse southern country rock band from the foothills of northeast Georgia. Throughout the evening, select chefs and restaurants will offer an exceptional lineup of savory bites and sweet hors d’oeuvres, creating the perfect culinary kickoff to festival weekend.

The Big Event
The Lake Oconee Area Builders Association (LOABA) presents The Big Event, a free community festival happening on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10 AM to 4 PM at its new location: Lake Oconee Church, 1101 Village Park Drive in Greensboro, Georgia. As one of the region’s most anticipated annual events, The Big Event brings together more than 170 local exhibitors, showcasing home builders, remodelers, suppliers, and a full range of home-related businesses—from mortgage and pest control to appraisers and specialty contractors.
In addition to home and garden experts, guests can explore booths featuring local merchants, artists, nonprofits, arts and crafts, boats, and recreational vehicles, making this a truly diverse and exciting festival for all ages.
