Southern Wrestling returns to OBC!  The ring will be set up in the Event Center for this family-friendly Wrestling Night at Oconee Brewing!

Attendees are invited to escape the commercialized side of Christmas for an evening of pause and reflection with Coffee Train and its team. The event emphasizes the true reason for the Christmas season: the birth of Jesus, who came plainly and simply as a baby, bringing salvation for all.

Visitors are encouraged to join in this celebration. The Coffee Train will be open to serve hot beverages, though no purchase is necessary to enjoy the Live Nativity. This event is brought to you by Dandy Little Farm, MiSFITS High School Homeschool Club, and Coffee Train.

Join the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center for the annual Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert! This Grammy Award-winning symphony will be playing both classical music and familiar favorites, and will also include a sing-a-long as well.

While tickets are not yet available, some MMCC membership levels will receive early access to ticket sales starting in September.

Festival Hall Presents the fabulous Joe Gransden with special guest Robin Latimore for a swingin’ good time holiday show!  Come celebrate the season with Joe Gransden and his 10 piece band!

Gransden has performed worldwide and released 16 albums under his own name. Renowned first for his hard bop approach as a trumpeter, Gransden’s singing voice has been compared to that of Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra.  Gransden is the triple threat: fabulous singer, killer trumpet player and charmingly hilarious entertainer. With more than 30 years of performing, Joe has honed his talents, always bringing the best musicians along for the ride.

Special guest vocalist, Robin Latimore, is the lead vocalist for her band Robin Latimore and the Boys. She has recently shared the stage with jazz greats Johnathan Butler, Maysa, Rachelle Ferrell, Michael Franks, Phil Perry and Jeff Lorber.

Lakepoint Community Church invites everyone to embark on a captivating journey that beautifully narrates the story of Jesus's birth. Guests will be welcomed with the comforting warmth of hot chocolate to set the festive mood. As they proceed, they will encounter enchanting scenes with live animals that can be petted while the enchanting Christmas story unfolds.

Attendees will also experience live portrayals of Mary and Joseph, bringing a deeper sense of realism and connection to the narrative. The journey culminates at a cozy fire pit, where guests can indulge in making s’mores, adding a sweet and memorable finish to the evening.

This magical event is free and open to the public, offering a perfect opportunity to gather friends and family to celebrate the true essence of Christmas together.

Join in the holiday cheer with the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center’s annual Community Holiday Concert! Spend the afternoon with Madison County’s community’s festive songs and dances.

There is no admission to this event, but tickets must be picked up from the cultural center. Starting November 30th tickets will be available for pick-up (limit to 6 per person). Although there is no admission, the donation of canned goods for the Caring Place are greatly encouraged.

This year's parade will take place in the evening. They will also have food trucks and vendors on the Courthouse lawn before and after the Parade.

We'll be parading through Downtown Madison to ring in the Christmas Holiday!

The Holiday Parade will feature floats, walking groups, vintage cars, horses, dogs, dancers, and the award-winning MCHS Marching Bulldog Band, all decorated to this year's theme - Twelve Days of Christmas.

After the parade, join friends and neighbors for our annual Caroling by Candlelight celebration in Town Park. An evening full of music and holiday spirit brought to you by Madison Main Street. Enjoy a free concert by The Missile Toes with songs to warm our hearts and move our feet. The band will also lead the crowd in familiar carols to extend the holiday cheer.

In addition to the musical show, Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the Elves will be on hand to hear Christmas wishes. Kids are invited to sit and chat with Santa and Mrs. Claus or leave a special letter for speedy delivery to the North Pole.

Lake Country Books & Gifts hosts a purrrfectly festive morning with local author Amy Pulliam, who will be reading from her delightful book, “Christmas Cats!” Get ready to be entertained by a furry cast of feline friends in this heartwarming and unique event.

This in-person event is a must for cat lovers, kids and anyone wanting to get into the holiday spirit. A special feline guest will also be in attendance!

Included in your ticket is meeting the author, a live book reading, a copy of "Christmas Cats", picture opportunities, and more. Tickets are $25 per kid and adults get in free!

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center is hosting a seasonal supergroup event showcasing local talent, led by internationally recognized artists Sam Burchfield and his wife, Pip the Pansy, along with the husband and wife duo Cicada Rhythm from Athens, Georgia.

The concert will take place on Friday, December 13th, in the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center’s Hall on Foster, promising an exciting and festive evening with performances of well-known favorites from Vince Guaraldi and Burl Ives, as well as deep holiday cuts from Paul McCartney, Chuck Berry, and Marvin Gaye. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the show beginning at 7:00 PM.

Rock Eagle 4-H Center is hosting the Tompkins Inn Christmas community event on December 7, 2024, from 2-4 PM at the Historic Tompkins Inn, located off of Highway 441.

Participants will have the opportunity to tour the interior of the inn, engage in cookie decorating, and enjoy crafting activities. The event is open to everyone, with a fee of $5.00 per person, while children aged 4 and under can attend for free when accompanied by a paying adult.

This event will be a cozy indoor market that will offer all of the JOY & WARMTH of Christmas and is sure to leave you feeling MERRY & BRIGHT!

There will be 20+ artisan vendors offering a wide array of unique products located in both our gymnasium and museum. You are sure to find something you like & maybe even something for someone on your Christmas list.

A gift wrapping station will be set up for any of your wrapping needs, courtesy of our children who are planning to attend the Washington D.C. school trip in the Spring. Cost: $3 per gift.

We will have live music periodically throughout the day featuring our children who will sing Christmas songs.

There will be an area for kid activities…cookie decorating & ornament decorating. Cost: $2 per item.

SANTA IS COMING!!…and he will have a list! Santa will have his own special area for you to visit him. Hopefully you will find your name on the “nice” list! Make sure you share your wish list with him and take a picture. Cost: $5.

Full concessions, baked goods, and hot cocoa will be available for you to enjoy anytime throughout the day. Feel free to come by and “fuel up” as much as you want!

With the exception of the funds raised from the gift wrapping station and the baked goods, all proceeds from this event will go towards the annual fund at Nathanael Greene Academy.
