The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center proudly presents Martha Lower: Legacy of a Portrait Artist, a special exhibition celebrating the life and work of one of Georgia's distinguished portrait painters. The exhibition opens with a public Opening Reception on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM, and remains on display through Saturday, January 30, 2027.

Featuring a collection of Martha Lower's remarkable portraits, the exhibition highlights her artistic legacy, technical mastery, and lasting impact on the region's cultural history. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore beautifully preserved works that showcase her talent for capturing personality, character, and timeless elegance.

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center also welcomes submissions from collectors who own original Martha Lower paintings for exhibition consideration. Those interested should contact Curator Judy Gilbert before the September 30, 2026 submission deadline.
