Chef Lane Raney and his wife, Kirby Raney, have owned Café 44 since 2023, taking over from original owners Bob Gour and Carol Thompson.
Breakfast, lunch and fresh-baked pastries
Mornings at Café 44 start with coffee roasted fresh in Thomasville, Georgia, paired with homemade bakery treats. Made-to-order breakfast runs until 10:45, omelets, buttermilk pancakes, and the café's breakfast sandwiches on toasted sourdough.
Lunch brings crisp salads and artisan sandwiches, including the California Club, recognized as one of the top 100 sandwiches in Georgia. Gluten-free options are available on request.
To-go dinners Wednesday through Saturday
Dinner at Café 44 is made to travel. Wednesday through Saturday, the kitchen offers rotating to-go dinners for pickup by 4pm, homemade, family-style meals you take home and put straight on the table, no cooking or cleanup required.
