Lake Oconee Life exists to connect people to the best of Lake Oconee and to each other. We’re here to celebrate what makes this place special, support the people who make it run, and make it easier for locals and visitors to feel like they belong.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be with our followers for every chapter of their Lake Oconee journey: from the first visit, to planning the next trip, to seriously considering a move, to becoming a neighbor.

  • Morning person or night owl: Definitely a morning person. That's why I get up at 5am. I love my "me time". My favorite hour of the day.

  • Dream job as a child: To be a school teacher.

  • Introvert or extrovert: Introvert by nature. I have worked hard to become an extrovert.

  • Fun Fact: My daughters (Madi & Tory Leigh), our dog Nina, and our cat, Peanut, and I all lived on our houseboat for 9 months.

  • What’s your biggest asset to the company? I’m very punctual. I know exactly when my 11am and 5pm walks are about to start and I never miss them.
