Veleanar Horton, the owner of Therapeutic Massage & Wellness Spa, has a background in International Banking, Financial Services, and troubleshooting computers. While attending her church service she had an epiphany and that’s when she knew she wanted to pursue a career as a Licensed Massage Therapist and to help others feel better.
She graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in 2013 and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) which is the largest non-profit, professional association serving Massage Therapists, massage students and massage schools. She is trained in a variety of modalities, such as Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Orthopedic Massage, and Full Body Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
Then in January of 2020, Vel decided to open her own business, Therapeutic Massage and Wellness Spa. Her mission is to “facilitate the healing of soft tissue injuries, to help relieve chronic pain, to help with relaxation with a compassionate touch for wellness and therapeutic benefits, and to continue with education to better serve my clients and the community.”
She is looking forward to serving the community and expanding her business for wellness. Vel gives God all the glory for what He has done.
