6th Annual ArtiGras Carnival
February 14, 2026 | Barrel 118 | 6-11pm
This over-the-top MardiGras-themed event was created as a celebration and fundraiser for The Artisans Village, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to highlighting local talent and supporting the artist community. This magical evening features live music, artist demonstrations, performing arts, and more. The 5th Annual ArtiGras Carnival will be held at Barrel 118 in historic downtown Eatonton. Put on your party frocks and go all out with sparkles and festive/bright colors. Masks provided or bring your own!
Lake Oconee Food & Wine Festival
March 19 - 22, 2026 | The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds
Experience a three-day food and wine festival in Georgia, showcasing over 200 wines from global vintners and a curated selection of premium international liquors. The event celebrates the region’s most innovative chefs and culinary talent, complemented by an eclectic blend of live performances and visual arts. Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Oconee, this lakeside festival promises an unforgettable feast for the senses.
The Big Event
March 21, 2026 | 10am - 4pm | Lake Oconee Church
Get ready for The Big Event on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lake Oconee Church in Greensboro, Georgia. The Big Event is a family-friendly festival and exhibition featuring 180+ local businesses. It showcases home builders, suppliers, remodelers, and other industry businesses, including appraisers, pest control, mortgage companies, and more. In addition to home and garden vendors, the event also features arts and crafts vendors and a popular boat show. There is a designated Kids Zone with games, activities, and face painting for young children. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of food trucks and vendors. The event is free, rain or shine, and aims to educate and expose the Lake Oconee community to the services, products, and team members of the Lake Oconee Area Builders Association (LOABA).
Tracks to Trail Firefly Fest
March 28, 2026| 10am-4pm | Union Point, GA
Cyclists and bike enthusiasts converge every year for Firefly Trail, Inc.’s annual Ticket To Ride fundraiser. Firefly Trail, Inc., is a Georgia non-profit whose purpose is to create a multi-use, 39-mile recreational trail from Athens to Union Point along the corridor of the historic Athens Branch of the Georgia Railroad.
Sweet Tee Off Golf Tournament

The annual Sweet Tee Off Golf Tournament has consistently been a highly anticipated event organized by the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce. Madison Fest

Madison Fest, held annually in Madison, Georgia’s Town Park, is a vibrant springtime celebration. This free, family-friendly event features over 90 local and regional artisans showcasing handmade arts and crafts, including pottery, woodwork, jewelry, and more. Festivalgoers can also browse a variety of garden plants, enjoy live music performances on the Second Street Music Stage, and indulge in delicious food and ice-cold beer. Children will love the free crafting tent and face painting, while special attractions like the Plein Air Paint Out, solar viewing, and native reptile displays add to the fun. Spring Tour Of Homes

Dairy Festival

The Putnam County Dairy Festival, held annually in Eatonton, Georgia, is a beloved celebration of the area’s rich dairy heritage. In 2025, this family-friendly event kicks off with the Terrapin Trot races, featuring a 10K, 5K, and 1-mile fun run hosted by the Eatonton Service League. The Firefly Festival, held annually in Madison, Georgia’s Town Park, marks the end of summer with two evenings of fun and entertainment for all ages. On Friday Kids’ Night, children 12 and under can enjoy stilt walkers, music, bubbles, face painting, inflatables, and creative crafts. Saturday ‘Date Night’ Concert caters to adults with live music performances, such as past acts like The Sensational Sounds of Motown. Families and friends are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and coolers to relax and enjoy this cherished Madison tradition.
Cruise In

Madison Holiday Parade & Caroling By Candlelight

5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Caroling by Candlelight in Town Park following the Holiday Parade
The Christmas Holiday is being celebrated in Downtown Madison with a festive parade. The parade, featuring floats, walking groups, vintage cars, horses, dogs, and more. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to join in the fun by entering the parade, which is free to participate in. Following the parade, Madison Main Street is hosting the annual Caroling by Candlelight celebration in Town Park. Local choral groups, bands, and community-based musicians will perform holiday carols to create a joyful atmosphere, with attendees encouraged to join in and sing along. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and the Elves will also be present, providing an opportunity for children to meet Santa and share their Christmas wishes, or leave a letter for delivery to the North Pole.
