The objective of all the Lake Oconee Life scavenger hunts is just to have fun! Our Eats themed hunt will allow locals to discover and try out new restaurants, or if you are visiting the area, get an overview of our out-of-the-box dining experiences. If you have chosen our Attractions hunt you will explore the hidden details that make the Lake Oconee community a uniquely entertaining place to vacation or live.

Enjoy one of our scavenger hunts on any day you would like to be adventurous! Please note, however, that we are still a small community, and many of our restaurants, shops, and attractions are closed on Sundays. If you are doing our Eats themed scavenger hunt, you are subject to restaurant hours.

Nope! No tour guides required! All the answers you need for themed scavenger hunt can be found on our website by searching.

Anywhere you want to! Just get moving and get solving and have fun—there’s no need to do these hunts in any particular order.

It will depend on the amount of time you put into your challenges and the Hunt you are working on. Plan on around 2 hours for the Eats and 3 hours if completing 100% of the Attraction’s Hunt.

So sorry, but we don’t provide refunds for weather or in other instances when you are unable to complete the scavenger hunt, since you can always come back another time and complete your hunt.

You may bring your pet along on the scavenger hunt if you are willing to skip the locations that do not allow pets. Some of our restaurants and attractions do allow pets, but not all.
