Blue Velvet Atlanta returns to the Rutledge Summer Concert Series with its signature blend of powerhouse vocals, soulful blues, and high-energy performances. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the all-female blues-inspired band brings the rich traditions of blues to modern audiences with style, passion, and undeniable stage presence.

In 2025, Blue Velvet Atlanta earned both the People's Choice Award and 1st Place at the Atlanta Blues Challenge, earning the opportunity to represent Atlanta at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January 2026.

Featuring exceptional musicianship, the band seamlessly blends blues-rock, funky New Orleans grooves, smooth R&B, soulful originals, and rich three-part harmonies that keep audiences singing, dancing, and coming back for more. The Rutledge Summer Concert Series, presented by Coldwell Banker Lake Country, features free concerts every Friday in June, July, and August at the gazebo in Downtown Rutledge, GA. Concerts take place from 7:00–9:00 PM at Rutledge Town Park (City Park), 113 Fairplay Street, at the corner of Fairplay and Main Streets.
