Come join us for free introductory yoga classes, Saturday January 5th at the 100 Acre Farm Red Barn and get acquainted with our guest yoga teacher Jayshree Subramanian who will be offering two different Yoga classes this winter to help with your health goals in 2019.
Chair Yoga at 11 - 11:45pm
Practiced in a chair, this All Levels/Gentle is specifically designed for anyone wanting a slower-paced exercise program, or Seniors, people with physical challenges (such as MS, Diabetes, Arthritis, weight challenge, etc)
All Level Yoga 5 - 6:15pm
An all levels class with focus on alignment, beginners will safely learn the basics while more experienced students can take postures to a deeper level. This class uses a combination of movement, postures and breath to work on strength, flexibility and balance.
Jayshree, as her students describe, is a gentle, very patient yoga teacher who pays close attention to alignment details in postures for a sustained yoga practice. With a soothing voice, she carefully orchestrates the class along with relaxing music in a non competitive class environment that is encouraging of students. She has around 15 years of teaching experience and teaches both in the US and Canada. She also offers online classes and private coaching.
Please bring your yoga mat, block and strap.
