IN COLLABORATION WITH MORGAN COUNTY AFRICAN-AMERICAN AMERICAN MUSEUM
The Spelman College Glee Club has maintained a reputation for choral excellence since 1925. The organization is open by audition to all students of the College community. Their repertoire consists of sacred and secular choral literature, with a particular focus on traditional spirituals, music by African American composers, music from many cultures and commissioned works. The Spelman College Glee Club has traveled throughout the United States and performed in a variety of venues, including Fanueil Hall in Boston and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center.
