The Georgia Writers Museum, a nonprofit organization and exhibit space that educates the public about the state’s rich literary heritage, will host a one-day celebration of Alice Walker’s 75th birthday on Saturday, July 13, 2019. Walker, who was born in Eatonton, Ga. in 1944, will travel to her hometown for the festivities.
Tickets are on sale now for Alice Walker 75 (AW75) and are expected to sell quickly.
