The Morgan County African American Museum in collaboration with the Benny Andrews Estate announces the exhibit, “Bennie Andrews, Illustrator”. This exhibit celebrates Andrews's Legacy as a children's book illustrator.
The exhibit will open temporarily at the Madison Public Safety Building, Meeting Hall, 160 North Main Street, Madison, High Street entrance. A copy of Bennie’s children’s books will be presented to the MCAAM by Mrs. Humphrey, Mr. Andrews’ widow. Afterwards, a reading will occur featuring celebrity readers, followed by a reception.
