Join The Artisans Village for the Opening Reception of Dual Vision: Art Through Different Eyes on September 14, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the historic Barrel 118 in downtown Eatonton. They are excited to present this event, which combines the creativity of photographers from the Associated Photographers of Lake Oconee photo club and artists from the Guild.

Since 2017, the Guild and the photo club have worked together to create this unique exhibition. Photographers showcase their stunning photographs at the April Guild meeting, and Guild artists use these photographs as inspiration to create their own artwork. The artists and photographers then come together for the Big Reveal at the September Guild meeting, where they explain their inspirations and share their artistry.

The Opening Reception at Barrel 118 is a must-attend event, as it is an opportunity to view and purchase both the photographs and the artwork. Admission to the reception is free and open to the public. After the reception, the exhibition will move to The Artisans Village Art Gallery located at 110 W. Marion Street, Eatonton.

This exhibition is not a competition, and there is no fee to participate. However, participating artists and photographers must be current members of the Guild or the photo club. During the exhibition, the public will have the chance to vote for their favorite photo and artwork, and The Artisans Village will award a People's Choice prize for each category.
