Steffen Thomas Museum of Art is hosting a Father’s Day Poetry and Card Workshop taught by Josina Guess from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11th! It's all about fathers and ages 8 through adults are invited to come create! You will leave with a special poem and handmade card to give for Father's Day.

Josina Guess is a writer, mother, farmer and poet based near Athens, Georgia. Her work is in Ecotone, Fourth Genre, About Place Journal, Sojourners and in anthologies Fight Evil With Poetry and Bigger Than Bravery: Black Resilience and Reclamation in a Time of Pandemic edited by Valerie Boyd (Lookout Books, Fall 2022). She is a senior writer for The Bitter Southerners and is enrolled in the narrative nonfiction MFA program at the University of Georgia class of 2023.
