Art enthusiasts are invited to an inspiring evening with acclaimed landscape artist John Cleaveland on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center.

As part of the current exhibition featuring his work alongside the late Richard Olsen, Cleaveland will share insights into his artistic journey, creative process, and lifelong passion for capturing the beauty of the natural landscape. A graduate of the University of Georgia who also studied in Cortona, Italy, Cleaveland has earned national recognition for his expressive landscapes, with works featured in museums and prestigious collections across the United States.

This free public gallery talk offers visitors the opportunity to hear directly from the artist, explore the exhibition in greater depth, and gain a behind-the-scenes perspective on the inspiration and techniques behind his remarkable paintings.
