About the Galvin Cello Quartet
With members from China, Brazil, South Korea, and the U.S., the Galvin Cello Quartet explores the limitless range of a cello ensemble by bringing together new works from diverse cultural backgrounds while seeking to establish the cello quartet as a core part of the classical music world.
This performance will be presented in memory of the Madison Chamber Music Festival’s founder and longtime Director, Christopher Rex, former principal cellist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
