Learn how to make your own probiotics rich - Gut healthy fermented foods in this Art of Fermentation workshop.

In this Make your own probiotics - an Art of fermentation workshop, Jayshree will teach the concepts and processes behind the age old technique on “How to ferment” foods that are simple enough for the participant to follow. The workshop is tailored to be a fun group activity, hands-on, that gives the participants the necessary experience to make their own “Probiotics” at home, a life long tool to keep our body healthy. Besides being equipped with this valuable knowledge, the participant will also take home a bottle of their own fermented vegetable that they will make during the workshop. Jayshree also offers the participants post workshop support to help troubleshoot anything related to their fermented vegetables, and she’ll do her best to help you figure out what you might be looking at. The workshop duration will be approximately 2hrs. Participant will bring along the below kitchen tools for the workshop:A clean cutting board, (plastic or wood is fine but don’t use cutting boards that have been used for processing meat, poultry, fish etc )A well sharpened kitchen knife,Long wooden spoon A large bowl plastic or glass that can hold one quart of vegetables and have enough room for your hand to get in to mix, one that might be easier to carry along.
