We will catch, tag and release flying monarchs in the Habitat located at the Briar Patch Walking Trail.
Running shoes a great idea for those catching butterflies! We will also record the tagged monarchs.
This is the 5th on-site event for those earning their Pollinator Gardener certification. all others invited to participate in this Citizen Science event taking place all over the country as migrating monarchs are recorded and tracked as they fly to their winter habitats in Mexico. they will return in the spring of 2019.

This will be the 4th year that Butterflies & Blooms in the Briar Patch has tagged, recorded and released migrating monarchs.
