50 & Over Senior Softball League

What is it:

Senior “Slow Pitch” softball league for players 50 and over

Who can play:

Any Men over 50

Any Women over 40

Skill Level:

Open to anyone. They offer pinch runners for batters who are unable to run.

Equipment Needed:

Glove & bat. But you will be able to borrow one if needed.

Where is the field:

Putnam County Recreation Department

140 Recreation Park Road. Eatonton, Ga. 31024

When:

Monday & Wednesday (Mornings only)

Batting Practice starts at 8:30 AM

Pickup games start at 9 AM ends around 11 AM

Teams:

No set teams we just divide up like when we were kids.

Cost:

$10 Per Month – Any extra would go to a lunch we would offer once a month.

Length of Season:

Not sure yet.

How to join:

Just show up or send them your phone & e-mail.

They will develop an e-mail & phone list & call/e-mail when field is open or closed.
