After a four-year hiatus, St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Foundation is bringing back its popular fashion show in 2024. Tickets to this event – one of the premier fundraisers in the greater Greene County and Lake Oconee region.
Reinvented for the growing community, “Passport to Fashion” will be a catwalk show featuring fashion from around the globe, followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Models – many with deep ties to Good Sam and the surrounding community – will be wearing fashions provided by multiple retailers from around the lake country, Madison and Athens.
The event will be held Feb. 1, 2024, at Lake Oconee Church, 1101 Village Park Drive, Greensboro, about 1.4 miles south of St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital off Lake Oconee Parkway. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. The fashion show will start at 5 p.m. and will be followed immediately by the cocktail reception. To ensure a first-class experience for all participants, only 400 tickets will be sold.
“I can’t tell you how excited we are to bring the fashion show back after a four-year hiatus,” said Jennifer Mercer, fashion show chair.
“We are especially excited about creating a new theme and format. ‘Passport to Fashion’ is going to be unlike any other event in our region. Have fun with our theme and dress like you are going out to an exclusive fashion affair – red carpet and all. Enjoy the fashion designs, then shop over cocktails with friends. Get your passports ready!”
All proceeds from “Passport to Fashion” will benefit St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Foundation and will be dedicated to enhancing the facilities and services of St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital.
