Sunday At The Museum Lecture Series
The Plaza Arts Center
Sunday, October 7 at 2:00 PM
Speaker: Charles Winslette
Topic: "Georgia High School Football: Past, Present, and Future"

The lecture is free, but donations are appreciated. (Light refreshments after lecture)

Coach Charles Winslette has the distinction of being inducted into five Sports Halls of Fame. An Eatonton native, he was a Putnam County High School honor graduate who lettered in five sports. He went on to become an honor graduate at the University of Georgia, earning a total of three UGA degrees and the UGA Presidential Scholar-Athlete Award, as well as being voted onto the All-SEC Baseball Academic First Team.

Winslette’s personal academic and sports record is rivaled only by his amazing career as a high school football coach. His current head coaching record of 260-134-3 ranked him #7 in total wins among active head football coaches in the state of Georgia before his May 2012 retirement as a Head Coach.

Coach Winslette is a popular speaker/clinician who is invited to speak at conferences and clinics throughout the United States. Join us on October 7th to meet this iconic coach as he shares his stories and looks into the future of Georgia’s high school football.
