The Old School History Museum is set to host speaker Joe Smith Sunday, May 7, from 2-4 p.m. Joe Smith is an Athens-based preservation architect and educator.
The lecture is one of many Sunday at the Museum lectures that take place throughout the year. Smith will focus his talk on the types and styles of architecture in Georgia from 1800-1940.
After the lecture, attendees are invited to enjoy refreshments and mingle in the museum. This is such a great way to learn something new, make friends in the Lake Oconee community and see what the museum is all about.
This event is free and open to the public. The Old School History Museum is located inside The Plaza Arts Center.
