Camp Scholars is a program for children ages 2 and up. Little Scholars’ camp is designed to promote problem solving, independence, creativity, leadership and socialization in young children. Week 1: Farm Scholars
Little Farmers will enjoy learning how to “Live on a Farm.” From taking care of an animal to learning about wildlife, as well as planting/harvesting crops. Little Scholars will have a local farmer bring animals to the school for hands on fun!

Week 2: Chef Scholars
This week campers will go on a cooking adventure. The Little Chefs will be encouraged to explore with their 5 Senses. Camp Scholars will be preparing snacks, which will require little to no cooking and will help promote healthy eating. Some of the yummy food being prepared will be Apple Doughnuts, Fruit Pizza, and other delicious snacks.

Week 3: Science Scholars
This week campers will be experiencing ALL THINGS SCIENCE! As we all know, little ones are extremely curious and Camp Scholars will enjoy 5 days of fueling their intriguing minds. The Little Scientist will enjoy participating in camp wide science experiments including: A Solar Powered Crayon Melt, Telling Time Using Shadows, A Sink or Float Science Table and much more!

Camp Scholars’ Little Gardeners will be having a hands-on week of dissecting a plant from the root to the flower. They will be exploring how bugs and worms help plants grow. The gardeners will be making Flower Placemats, Seed Sorting, Making a Sun Print, along with many other crafts.

Little Patriots will be expressing their love for America through singing songs(God Bless America and the Star + Spangled Banner), designing fun art activities and flag making. Little Scholars Academy will be closed July 4th and 5th to celebrate Independence Day.

Week 8: Under the Sea
The Little Deep Sea Divers will dive into an ocean of fun! They will be learning about the many animals and plants that live and grow in the ocean. From a sandy beach sensory bin to sorting sea shells by size, shape and color, little divers will have plenty fun.

Join Mr. Ray for an exciting and enriching summer camp experience at their 17th Annual Summer Camp - Karate Edition! If you're seeking a fun-filled camp for your son, daughter, or grandchildren, look no further!
Ages 4 through 12
At Summer Camp, students will enjoy a daily Karate lesson, engaging games, and movies, all while learning valuable life skills from Master Ray and his dedicated staff. Participants will discover how to become strong leaders, work as a team to overcome challenges, and show respect to earn respect in return. They will also be introduced to the benefits of Tang Soo Do training for strength and overall health.
Each day will be packed with a variety of activities, including meditation, stretching, exercise, Karate, games, movies, water fun days, child safety, and bully prevention lessons. And let's not forget the exciting pizza party on Fridays to wrap up a fantastic week!
Summer Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with early drop-off available at 7:45 a.m. Participants will receive a free "Summer Camp T-Shirt" and enjoy drinks throughout the week. Students are required to bring a packed lunch and snacks Monday-Thursday, Capri Sun and water provided.
Conveniently located on Harmony Road, just 1/4 mile off Lake Oconee Parkway in Putnam, Greene, and Morgan Counties, Summer Camp is easily accessible to families in the area.
To secure your spot, print and complete the registration form, a $50 non-refundable deposit per student per week is required. Balance is due in full by: June Camp, Friday 6/7, July Camp, Friday 7/19

Rescue Rangers Summer Camp
Join the Humane Society of Morgan County for a week of fun & education at the Interactive Summer Camp for kids in grades 2-5. This fun-filled, 1/2 Day Camp runs 9 AM to 1 PM from June 13 through June 17.
Registration Includes: Camp T-Shirt, group photos, field trips, daily snack & drink, arts & crafts, and certificate.
There are only 20 openings, so don't wait to enroll! $150 for the 1st camper, and $100 for a 2nd camper from the same family.
It is recommended campers bring a sack lunch but on Friday 6/17 the camp will provide lunch.

Karate Summer Day Camp

Looking for a FUN Filled Camp for your son, daughter or grandchildren then need to check out the 14th Annual Summer Camp. In addition to playing games, making crafts and watching movies. Master Ray and his staff will teach students how to become better “Leaders”, how to use “Teamwork” to accomplish difficult task, how showing “Respect” to others will help them be “Respected”. We will also safely introduce students to the benefits of Tang Soo Do training, and how it can help them become strong & healthy.
Each day will be filled with Activities such as:
Meditation / Stretching / Exercise / Karate / Games / Craft’s / Movie's / Water Fun Day / Child Safety and Bully Prevention!
Friday we will finish the week off with a Pizza Party!

Morgan County Parks & Recreation Services’ Summer Day Camp designed for ages 5-12 runs from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from May 31st to July 29th (except for July 4th week.) The camp will be held in the Morgan County Recreation Gym.

What to Bring to Camp:
Sack lunch and additional snacks, if desired. Beverages and an afternoon snack will be provided. Please do not send lunches that need to be cooked or put in the refrigerator.
Comfortable clothing appropriate for outdoor activities.
Students will need to wear shoes that tie or fasten and that can get dirty. Socks and shoes must always be worn. Flip flops and sandals may limit participation in certain activities.
On Monday, please bring an extra pair of shoes (these can be flip flops), bathing suit, towel, and a change of clothes to be left in your child’s classroom until the end of the week.
Students in the rising kindergarten classroom should bring a blanket and small pillow for rest-time.
Bag or backpack to contain personal items.
Hat, sunscreen, reusable water bottle and bug spray (if desired)
If needed bring arm swimmies, lifejacket and/or swimming goggles
No electronic games, cell phones, radios, etc. are allowed.
Campers should have ALL personal gear marked with the owner’s name.
Drop Off & Pick Up:
Drop-off will always occur in your child’s designated classroom no earlier than 7:45 a.m. and preferably no later than 8:30 a.m. Your child’s classroom location will be on your registration receipt. If you expect to arrive later than 8:30 a.m. your child’s class may not be in their classroom so PLEASE DO NOT DROP YOUR CHILD OFF BY THEMSELVES.
Chappell Hall—For drop off and pick up at Chappell Hall please feel free to use the 30 minute reserved parking places in front of Russell Auditorium (adjacent to Chappell Hall). There will also be additional temporary parking reserved for Kids’ University in front of Chappell Hall in the morning and afternoon. These spaces will have a 10 minute time limit and will only be available 7:30-8:30 a.m. and 4:30-5:15 p.m.
Wellness and Recreation Center - The drop off and pick up location at the Wellness and Recreation Center will be in one location for both (Rising 4th Graders and Rising 5th & 6th Graders) classes, which will be located at the back of the center. A teacher will be present at the door from 7:45-8:00am for drop off.
Your child will need to be signed in and out by the teacher each day. Always let the teacher know when you arrive and when you leave.
Pick-up occurs no later than 5:15 p.m. for all programs. A $15 fee will be assessed for every fifteen minutes late for each pick-up violation. If you will need to pick your child up prior to 5 p.m. please coordinate the location of pick-up with your child’s teacher. The schedule changes on a weekly basis and we use a great deal of our large campus! All individuals picking up the child must be on the approved pick-up list which is located on your emergency information form. Be prepared to show a Photo I.D. if asked when arriving to pick up the child.
YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND KIDS’ UNIVERSITY UNTIL HE OR SHE ARE REGISTERED FOR THAT WEEK, FULLY PAID AND HAS ALL REQUIRED PAPERWORK COMPLETED.

8-8:30 a.m.- Focusing Exercise/Drop-Off
8:30-9:00 a.m. - Camp Gathering
9-9:45 a.m. - Classroom Activity
10 a.m. - Snack Time
Pool Time:
11:00am-12:00pm - Rising 2nd-3rd Pool Time
2:00-3:00pm - Rising 4th-6th Pool Time
Rising Kindergarten and 1st Grade will participant in water-based activities in lieu of the pool.
* For Kindergarten class - rest time will be after lunch time.
11:00am-5:00 p.m. - Pool/Lunch/Reading/Games/Special Events
Behavior Policy:
Parents of children whose behavior disrupts the camp will be given one warning. If the disruptive behavior persists, the child will be dismissed from the camp without a refund. If there is a severe disruption (which is determined by the Director), the child will be dismissed immediately without a refund.
