Tee Box Social: Indoor Golf & Family Fun Near Lake Oconee
162 Scott Road, Eatonton, GA
Rain or shine, tee time is on. Tee Box Social is opening mid-to-late November 2026 in the former LO Cheer location, bringing five golf simulator bays, 13 other sports, and a dedicated party room to Eatonton. Doors are open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
The story starts with founder Charles Fatjo, who moved to Lake Oconee from New York City. He came down for a golf trip, fell in love with the area, got rained out, and discovered there was no public simulator to practice on. So he decided to build one.
It’s not just for golfers. Along with the simulators, you’ll find hockey, soccer, basketball, football, and group games like zombie dodgeball and ski ball, which makes it a great fit for families, kids, and groups of mixed ages. Leagues and tournaments launch after opening, and food comes from partnering local food trucks.

Georgia Docks + Seawalls: October Special
Georgia Docks + Seawalls isn’t new to the lake, but we’re thrilled to welcome them to the Lake Oconee Life family. If you’ve been dreaming of a new dock for slow evenings on the water, or a seawall to protect your shoreline, this is a name worth knowing.

Lake Oconee, Souper Jenny has officially landed! You’ll find them at 1100 Parkside Main, right next to the movies, and they’d love for you to come by, say hey, and stay for lunch.
This one is special for the Souper Jenny team. Lake Oconee is their 6th location since 1999, and a lot of hard work went into making this dream a reality. They’re excited to be part of our beautiful community and overflowing with gratitude for everyone who helped get them here.

Lake Oconee Farmers Market at Harmony Crossing
Calling all bagel lovers, this one's for you. Oconee Bagel Co. debuted at the Lake Oconee Farmers Market back in May 2026, and Lake Country's bagel game has not been the same since.
These are hand-rolled, boiled-and-baked bagels, the real deal, not the grocery-store kind. Our pick to try first is the everything bagel: crisp on the outside, soft and chewy in the middle, loaded with that classic blend of seeds, garlic, and onion.
Find them most every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at Harmony Park @ Harmony Crossing in Eatonton, right by the fountain on the corner. Get there early, the good ones go fast.
Brilliance by Design: A Tonya Miller Company

Beyond grateful is right… Brilliance by Design opened its doors August 10th, and it's already turning heads in Eatonton.
The boutique is the newest addition from Tonya Miller, a local builder and interior designer whose clients kept asking the same question after every project: "Where can I get this?" So she decided to open her own store and answer it herself. The result is a sweet little shop packed with unique finds for homeowners of every budget and style, the kind of pieces that will absolutely turn your house into your home.
Brilliance by Design is a go-to for hostess, birthday, and thank-you gifts, or a cute addition to your home bar and beverage center. Their cocktail mixes have already become a shop favorite - just add liquid and serve, with several drinks from one bottle. There's a new bloom in downtown Greensboro, and the shop's motto says it all: "You dream it, we will make it happen."
Designs by Brandy Floral Studio is Greensboro's second location for owner Brandy, who brought her shop to Lake Country to be closer to friends and her son in Athens. Flowers have been one of her love languages for more than 15 years, and it shows: every arrangement, no matter the occasion, is designed to tell a story and speak volumes without saying a word.
Brandy specializes in weddings, funerals, and everyday occasions, working in both fresh and silk flowers, and she's built her business on a simple promise — every customer is treated the same, no matter their budget.
