Camellia Class

There will be a Camellia Class starting at 2 p.m. on Feb. 24 held at Lake & Local in Greensboro. Tom McClendon designed and installed the Gathering Garden at Lake & Local with Augusta horticulture expert Joe Le Vert in 1996. Tom is president of the Southeastern Palm Society and member of the American Camellia Society.

  • How to propagate Camellias

For a hands-on element, participants will take plant cuttings for themselves. Each participant will make two cuttings to take home. There will also be a demonstration to learn how to air-layer camellias.
