Old School History Museum takes a step back in time with Ice Cream Social!

Take a step back in time to when marbles and hopscotch were the most popular forms of entertainment; to when a cold coca-cola was only a nickel and an ice cream was less than a dollar.

Join the Old School History Museum for an old fashioned ice cream social during the August Adventure event Saturday, Aug. 12 from 1 - 4p.m. at The Plaza Arts Center. The timelessness of a scoop of ice cream will be celebrated along with games, dances and so much more.

The Arts Barn will be leading a fun interactive dance and heading up a cupcake walk. Miss Georgia will be doing what she does best with storytelling in the Old School History Museum classroom. Games such as hopscotch, 4 square, balloon toss, jump rope, jacks, marbles will be available as well.

It wouldn’t be an ice cream social without some food! Enjoy hot dogs, lemonade, popcorn, and of course ice cream!!
