Georgia Writers Museum is hosting the traveling exhibit, Unframed Images: Photography from the Collection of P.H. Polk. Best known for his inspirational portrait of First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and Tuskegee’s Chief Flight Instructor Charles Anderson, P. H. Polk’s work gave the Tuskegee Airmen national recognition. The Polk Collection is held at Tuskegee University, where Polk was head of the Photography Department, and includes a comprehensive study of African American portraiture.
