The Ocmulgee Archaeological Society brings another FREE family-friendly event for kids and adults alike with the third Archaeology Day of 2021 held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 7th. Come study the history of Putnam County, take a fun class in how people hundreds of years ago made their pottery (and take yours home with you), learn Native American stories & games, and bring your artifacts to be identified by our panel of archaeologists. This event is co-sponsored by the Old School History Museum.
