Join the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer on April 5th for a Wednesday night worship. The first session begins at 4:30 PM with a guided walk at 5:00 PM. The Tenebrae Evening Prayer will commence at 6:00 PM.
Tenebrae is Latin for “shadows” or “darkness.” During the reading of passages from Hebrews, Lamentations, and St. Augustine, candles are slowly extinguished until only one remains, representing Jesus Christ, the eternal light that overcomes all darkness.
